Port Washington, WI – Mike Ansay, CEO of Ansay & Associates and Chairman of the Board for the Independent Insurance Agents of Wisconsin (IIAW), recently attended the Big “I” Legislative Conference in Washington, D.C. As a member of the Big “I” National, Ansay joined independent insurance leaders from across the country to advocate for issues affecting agencies, clients and local communities.

The annual conference connects independent agents with state and federal lawmakers to address insurance market challenges, regulatory priorities and public policy issues impacting the independent agency system. These conversations help ensure agents and the communities they serve are represented in national policy discussions.

During the conference, Ansay participated in the Big “I” legislative fly-in, meeting with members of Wisconsin’s congressional delegation, including Representatives Scott Fitzgerald, Glenn Grothman and Bryan Steil, as well as Senators Tammy Baldwin and Ron Johnson. Discussions focused on advancing legislation that supports a competitive insurance marketplace, strengthens small businesses and improves outcomes for consumers.

Ansay & Associates remains committed to industry advocacy through active involvement in organizations such as the IIAW and the Big “I” National, supporting the independent agency model and the communities it serves.
