Investing in the Next Generation: Mike Ansay and Marquette’s Insurance Leadership Program
Mike Ansay’s long-standing partnership with Marquette University has helped bring the Insurance Leadership Program to life, creating new opportunities for students to enter the insurance industry.
Marquette Today's article, “Not Your Father’s Insurance Industry,” highlights the launch of Marquette University's new Insurance Leadership Program. At the heart of this story is Mike Ansay and a vision decades in the making.
Nearly 30 years ago, Mike Ansay, CEO and Chairman of Ansay & Associates, began working with Marquette to strengthen the connection between higher education and the insurance industry. After years of collaboration, Marquette University launched its Insurance Leadership Program in the fall of 2025. The program prepares students to enter a rapidly evolving industry through a combination of academic coursework, executive mentorship, and real-world experience. Serving on the program’s advisory board, Mike helps steer its direction to meet industry demands. Beyond board membership, he is also helping fund the program’s new fraternity chapter. This contribution highlights his dedication to supporting students both academically and professionally.
For Mike, the program represents more than talent development; it reflects his belief in investing in the next generation. He has often spoken about the value that younger professionals bring to the workplace, noting that their energy, curiosity, and fresh perspective allow them to see opportunities without the predeterminations of the past. That new perspective will help shape the future of the insurance industry, and through this program, Mike and Ansay & Associates look forward to seeing that impact unfold.
