Celebrating 80 Years of Ansay & Associates: The Enduring Legacy of Adolph Ansay

Port Washington, Wis. — As Ansay & Associates celebrates 80 years of service, the milestone offers an opportunity to reflect on the life and legacy of its founder, Adolph Ansay. His life’s work extended far beyond business and deeply into the community he called home.

Raised on a farm in Port Washington, Adolph Ansay understood the importance of hard work, responsibility, and service from an early age. After earning a degree in business administration during the Great Depression, he began his career in banking. This experience sharpened his understanding of people, risk, and trust. That foundation later guided him as he launched what became a multi-generational family enterprise. In 1946, Adolph founded A.N. Ansay Agency, built on a simple but powerful belief: “You have to give to get."

That philosophy became the cornerstone of the business and remains central to Ansay & Associates today. What began as a small local operation grew steadily through decades of dedication, adaptability, and a commitment to helping clients protect what matters most.

While building multiple businesses, Adolph never lost sight of his role as a community steward. Elected county supervisor for the Village and Town of Belgium in 1948, he served Ozaukee County for nearly 50 years and played a key role in shaping local infrastructure and public spaces. He also volunteered his time as a firefighter and remained deeply involved in local civic and faith organizations throughout his life.

Equally important to Adolph was family. With his wife, Marie, he raised six children while modeling the values that would define future generations: integrity, perseverance, and service to others. Those values live on through his son, Mike Ansay, Chairman and CEO of Ansay & Associates, who continues to lead the agency with the same people-first mindset that defined his father’s work.

Under Mike’s leadership, Ansay & Associates has grown to serve tens of thousands of individuals and businesses across multiple states, while remaining proudly family-owned. Today, the third generation of the Ansay family plays active leadership roles across the organization and related family enterprises, ensuring the founder’s principles remain at the heart of everything they do.

“So, as we go through the year 2026, we're going to remind ourselves of my father, Adolph, and all the things that he stood for and all the things that he's taught us in his legacy, and now is teaching the next generation,” said Mike Ansay.

Eighty years after its founding, Ansay & Associates stands as a testament to Adolph Ansay’s enduring legacy. As the agency looks toward the future, it does so guided by the same philosophy rooted in long-term commitment to its clients and communities.
