Drug, Alcohol, and Tobacco Policies for Changing Times

Join us as we discuss and address drug, alcohol, and tobacco use in the workplace, with a focus on changes related to cannabis laws and vaping. Employers will receive guidance on updating drug and alcohol policies and ensuring that testing programs are compliant. We will also look ahead to changes that may be coming as Wisconsin loosens restrictions on CBD and considers the legalization of cannabis and how different industries are adapting to these changes.

Presenters:

C. Douglas Moran: Doug has over 25 years of practice, with significant first-chair trial experience representing clients in both jury and bench trials, as well as representing clients in arbitration. Doug concentrates his practice in representing employers, corporations and banks in litigation, including complex litigation.

Andrea F. Hoeschen: Andrea has more than 23 years of experience practicing labor and employment law. Her practice focuses on helping employers resolve and defend a wide variety of matters arising under ERISA, the NLRA, the FMLA, the FLSA, and state and federal employment laws. Andrea also has extensive experience in collective bargaining negotiations, and litigating issues arising under collective bargaining agreements.
