Essential Functions:

The Executive Vice President (EVP) is responsible for all Sales, Service & Operating Matters within an Ansay office(s) or region through the Ansay decentralized operating structure/model. In a Leadership role, the EVP is responsible for;

  • Growing Sales & Profits (& attaining/exceeding budget)

  • Executing on the plan / items necessary to attain sales/profit targets and strengthening the agency for future growth.

  • Leading / driving the a) Circle of Success b) Corporate Values c) Ansay Vision

  • Implementing Corporate policies and procedures

  • Clear Vision/Mission & End Results

  • Lead by example & model behaviors and actions reflected in a leader 

  • Aligned to business model (committee structure) and mode of operation – consistent demonstration of values in day-to-day actions

  • Outlined expectations and processes with openness to express process improvement or efficient solutions

  • People – Trusting / Engaging Workforce to do their job – and raising them up along the way

  • Leading change with clarity, communication and consistency

  • Collaboration between office, departments, SEC, and agency leaders to evoke an environment of trust, all ideas heard, respectful boundaries, and management of discussions

  • Engage employees in the right roles at the right time – making them feel like an integral part of the company where they can be retained and emerge as leaders

  • Relevant – interpret and translate relevant details to different groups

    Qualifications:        

     

  • Bachelor’s degree in either Finance, Economics or Business 

  • Master’s degree or advanced certifications preferred

  • Insurance license and/or industry designation – or willing to obtain

  • Highly customer-service oriented & a team player

 

Education & Development:

  • 5-7 years’ experience in leading a business, team or experience within the Insurance industry

  • Ability to reason and think logically in problem solving.

  • Previous experience with strategic analysis and planning regarding financial information.

  • Flexible and works well in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.

  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills.

  • Thorough in completing tasks, and focused on detail and accuracy.
