Position Title: Commercial Insurance Sales

Location: Wisconsin

Position Purpose: To generate new business sales, maintain and build upon renewal relationships, and provide proactive service and account management to clients.

Essential Functions:

•     Proactively over-serve top customers.
•     Proactively prospect and generate new business appointments.
•     Proactively round out accounts.
•     Proactively seek cross-sell opportunities for other departments.
•     Complete weekly sales reports including activity reports and other reports required by the sales manager in a timely fashion.
•     Attend and actively participate in agency sales and sales training meetings.
•     Develop and maintain positive relationships with partner insurance carriers.
•     Understand and adhere to roles and responsibilities in servicing business.
•     Understand and adhere to the new and renewal business marketing policies and procedures.
•     Continue professional development (i.e., keep current with industry changes, continuous sales training, pursue professional designations, etc.).

Job Requirements: Must have a positive “can-do” attitude, possess a passion for insurance, and be a self-starter who regularly demonstrates initiative. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required. Related experience includes previous sales experience preferably in the insurance industry. Property & Casualty license is desired. Other requirements include effective oral and written communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook.
