Position Title: Commercial Insurance CSR

Location: Wisconsin

Position Purpose: Under the direction of the commercial team leader and the service manager, provide support in obtaining, maintaining, expanding and servicing of commercial lines accounts.

Essential Functions:

•     Review renewal requests and endorsements for compliance with underwriting authority and guidelines.
•     Prepare policies, endorsements, binders and certificates of insurance.
•     Prepare ID cards for auto clients when necessary.
•     Handle telephone requests and written miscellaneous correspondence such as mortgagee requests, certificates, additional insured, etc.
•     Process cancellation requests.
•     Review company issued policies, endorsements, cancellations, etc. for accuracy.
•     Keep up to date on rate, form and coverage changes through bulletins and circulars, and maintain commercial lines manuals.
•     Take claim reports and follow up as needed with larger claims.
•     Participate in seminars and classes for skill and knowledge development.
•     Process incoming underwriting mail, information requests, etc.
•     Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements: Must be a self-starter, imaginative and creative with good communication skills both verbal and written. Should have solid understanding of commercial lines coverage. Minimum two years experience in similar position is desirable. Must be licensed per state requirements.
